Frequently Asked Questions
We value ease and transparency - we hope you do too!
-
Our process begins with a detailed family consultation to understand your household’s unique needs, values, and rhythm. Once you’ve submitted your application and paid the nonrefundable starting fee, we begin curating nanny candidates who align with your preferences. We conduct all interviews, screenings, and reference checks before presenting you with qualified options. Once we’ve identified a mutually interested match, the remaining placement fee is due before contact information is exchanged. From there, we help facilitate introductions, provide contract guidance, and check in during the first 30 days to ensure a smooth transition.
-
The $200 non-refundable starting fee covers your intake, family consultation, and our dedicated search process. A $1,000 placement fee covers candidate screening, interviews, background checks, references, and ongoing support throughout your nanny’s onboarding period. Together, these fees ensure our thoughtful, intentional placement experience.
-
The placement fee is due once we’ve found a nanny that both you and the candidate are interested in moving forward with. We’ll never release personal information from either party until this fee is received in full.
-
We understand that every home dynamic is unique. If your placement proves unsatisfactory within 30 days, we’ll begin a new search for a replacement nanny at no additional cost to you.
-
The starting fee is nonrefundable, as it covers the time and effort spent initiating your personalized search. Once the full $1,200 payment has been made, it remains nonrefundable unless Sacred Circle Nanny Collective is unable to find a suitable placement to meet your family’s needs.
-
Placement timelines vary depending on your needs and the availability of qualified candidates, but most families are matched within 2–8 weeks. We prioritize alignment over speed — ensuring your nanny is a long-term fit both in skill and spirit.
-
We place full-time, part-time, and occasional nannies for families seeking ongoing, consistent care. We also help with placements for nanny shares, household managers, mother’s helpers, and family assistants when available.
-
Every nanny undergoes an in-depth interview, reference check, and background screening. We look for reliability, professionalism, and a nurturing spirit — individuals who view their role as a calling, not just a job.
-
For the safety and privacy of both parties, we will be present for an introductory call to make sure we’ve made an ideal match. Personal information is only shared once the placement fee is paid. This ensures a secure and professional process for everyone involved.
-
We remain available for support during the first 30 days of your placement. You’ll receive guidance on onboarding, communication, and maintaining a healthy working relationship. Beyond that, we’re always here as a trusted resource if your family’s needs evolve.
-
Yes! We provide a customizable family-nanny agreement template that covers expectations, schedules, pay structure, and more. You can adjust it to fit your household’s needs.

No — all nannies placed through our agency are employed directly by the families they work for. Families are responsible for handling payment, taxes, and any employment paperwork.
-
We verify at least two professional references and conduct a comprehensive background screening through a trusted third-party provider prior to finalizing any placement.
-
If you find yourself needing new care outside of the 30-day window, we’re happy to begin a new search for you. Depending on the circumstances, a new placement fee may apply, but returning clients often receive priority in our search queue.
